“Nacht der Klänge” (Night of Sounds) at St. Marien Rostock
17 October: Presentation of the documentary movie “Im öffentlichen Interesse” (“of public interest”) in Hamburg. The movie shows the development of the Airbus runway extension conflict in Hamburg-Neuenfelde, and Kropf’s soundtrack makes extensive use of the Schnitger organ of St Pancratius church of Neuenfelde.

Background
If there is any “Philosophy” behind my concerts and their programs, it could be this:
Trying to match the style of the instrument with the style of the music, but also searching the contrasts ...
...mostly trying to find sort of a headline for the program, inspired by the organizer, the time in the
(church) year or the instrument itself...
...as often as possible: a (spoken) introduction to the program, and improvisations on given themes, given also by the audience...
